The growth of new breweries in GA has been explosive in recent years with now over 50 craft breweries open and active statewide. Although most of the breweries are centralized around the perimeter of Atlanta, new staples are starting to pop up around Roswell, Marietta and Alpharetta. Terrapin has dominated the Athens area until recently with the additions of Creature Comforts, Akademia, and The Southern Brewing company.
