In the late 1800s Idaho had more breweries than any other state, this was the case up until their state-wide Prohibition in 1916. There are now just over 60 breweries in Idaho with several currently in the planning phase to be opened in Boise, Idaho Falls, Twin Falls, Meridian and several other cities within the next year.
